Boots are the key to making a great fall or winter look. With fall around the corner, is your closet stocked with a great pair? They can have a rugged
country look, an equestrian vibe, or a sleek urban air. On
chillier days, they make dresses and skirts wearable. They also give
polish to jeans and add a down-to-earth feel to more delicate pieces.
Boots increase the versatility of your clothes, and every woman should
have a pair or two.
When wearing a fuller skirt, it's more refined for your hem
to fall just over the top of your boot. With a fitted shape, allow a few inches between your hem and your boot.
Go chunky to offset longer lengths. But don't put a beat up boot with
your tiered skirt. Save your rough and tough footwear for jeans.

Pick a pair that's fitted
around your leg but not so tight that your skin bulges out from the top.
There shouldn't be more than a half inch of space between your leg and
your boot.
